Hi,i have come to the conclusion that i have moved on and it is time to sell mycari have barely driven it for many years so it is time to let it go thisconvertible is a non matching numbers car and it began its life as a 6cylinderthe vin looks like a renumbered plate ,but it legal and doesnt showsalvage or anything car was completely stripped and rebuilteverything wasrebuilt or replaced ,sand blasted and painted,no wire wheel or paintbrush heretriple blue was my goal ,so i had a custom blue top made,exterior color is thestock firebird color in 2 step paintinterior is also blue with dash repaintedengine is a mid seventies 400 that has been completely ,reworked heads ,a smallcam ,now has tbi injection on an aluminium intake with adaptor plate,has ram airreproduction 400 cast manifolds with a fully stainless steel exhaust with x andstainless dynomax mufflersquality chrome alternator,master and booster setup,aluminium radiator with proper shroud and fan to prevent filter with relocation kit to the front fender wellnew brake and ful lines,custom fuel tank with built in fuel pump transmission is a 700 r4 fully rebuiltwith 2800 rpm stall ,with cooler and a stock looking custom shifter gate for 4speed suspension is obviously airheidts upper and lower control arms withbags,rear is a 4 link set up with bags trunk mounted 5 gallon air tank withcompressor and console remote controlfront and rear disc brakesdifferential is3,42 gears out of an gmc extreme s10 pick up fully redon.

I am listing this for an old friend ofmine who has owned this car for years. He had a frame off restoration done onthe car several years ago and since then has really just cranked the car weeklyand then driven it down the road 2 miles once a month. So the engine in this carhas less than 500 miles on it since be installed. I will admit he took me for a15 mile drive in it last week just to show me how it drove. It was a sweetdrive! This car is a 2 door hardtop. It had a complete frame off restoration. Hehas over 300 photos of the car as it was being restored and has a listing ofeverything that was done. The engine is a completely rebuilt 389 that came fromanother pontiac. It is a 4-speed manual transmission. He added power steeringand power brakes to the car. All the interior and chrome is new along with newseat belts. Has an edelbrook carb and aluminum radiator. Has new guages added,but otherwise the front panel is original. No rust on this car! Is storedcovered at all times.

For sale is a real-deal 1970 pontiac trans am ram air iii. This is the firstyear of the 2nd generation trans ams, with only 3,196 produced in 1970. It is a real 70 trans am (ws4 code, “228870” vin) builtat the norwood plant and is finished in white to match its “10 10” polarwhite exterior color code. What is particularly special about this car is thatit has its complete and original drivetrain, with the original, ci “ws” block (1970 tas only came with 400 blocks), muncie m21 (“b” code) 4-speed transmission, and itsoriginal rear axle with its original “cox” 3:55 gears and rear axle (dated may 19, 1970). It also comes with its originalintake and exhaust manifolds, #12 heads (both heads are dated april 22, 1970,though the “12” is difficult to see) and the original alternator andsteering box. There were engine components missing when i purchased this car (itwas purchased from an owner in california about 8-9 years ago), as a previousowner converted the car to electronic fuel ignition. As a result, the rare7040273 carb and 1112024 points distributor were missing. I have since purchaseda correct q-jet restored carb with the correct part number and date code forthis car (the carb is a restamp). I also recently purchased the correct with a january date code preceding the car’s build date (the lastweek of may, 1970: 05e). Those who know 70 tas know the importance of havingthese components. I have also installed the proper reproduction clutch fan andshroud. The radiator appears to be original to the car, though i cannot confirm.
